Vista AST operates and maintains its own Maker Space in Youngstown, OH, with banks 3D printers, mills, CNC machines, laser cutter/engraver, vinyl cutter/printer and woodworking shop and accompanying design studio space. This certified FabLab is located at the internationally recognized Youngstown Business Incubator, which is also home to America Makes, the national laboratory for additive manufacturing. Access to the Maker Space is provided either in person or remotely using virtual collaboration software. With our own software, STORM, the Maker Space equipment can be accessed by computer anywhere in the world. Maker Space staff can provide in assistance with project review, instruction in CAD and other equipment and design assistance. Field trips and enrichment programs are also available.
